Advocacy Curriculum Facilitator Orientation Online Training
August 3, 10, 17, 24, 26, and 31, 2021
All sessions will be held from 1:30 - 4:00 pm CT.
This six-session virtual training is being held in conjunction with the release of the NIWRC Advocacy Curriculum. People registered for the training will automatically receive access to the Advocacy Curriculum. The curriculum was created primarily to meet the need for tribal domestic violence programs to train new advocates on-site at no cost, according to their schedule. The goal of this training is to provide an opportunity for new and seasoned facilitators to become familiar and comfortable with utilizing the curriculum materials, key concepts and session objectives. Sessions will be conversational to promote discussion, questions/answers, give guidance on facilitation issues, setting up staff trainings, in-services and public education events. Please join us for this highly interactive training! Questions? Contact Brenda Hill at bhill@niwrc.org.
