MMIWR State Legislative Tracker

MMIWR State Legislative Tracker

The Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives (MMIWR) State Legislative Tracker is an interactive database designed to help you easily find and track MMIWR-related legislation in your state and nationwide. This tool builds upon our MMIWR Monthly Legislative Summary, previously featured in our legislative updates and the June 2024 edition of Restoration Magazine. Now in a more accessible format, the Tracker serves as a resource for state and local legislators, advocates, grassroots leaders, community members, and allies.

The MMIWR State Legislative Tracker is an educational policy resource that compiles current legislation (2020-2024) at the state level focused on addressing the MMIWR crisis. Included are summaries of the legislation, its status, links to relevant news articles, and more. Please note that this resource does not promote or advocate any specific MMIWR legislation nor provides an analysis of MMIWR legislative proposals.
