Remembrances and Recommendations in Working With Our Indigenous Unhoused Relatives
Winter Solstice is the first day of winter and the longest night of the year. It is a time of ceremony and reflection and an important time to bring awareness and understanding in working with our unhoused relatives and all who are experiencing housing insecurity/homelessness and gender-based violence. This webinar uplifts the work of diverse Tribal communities who have been working tirelessly to respond and address safety and housing for all our relatives. Panelists will share what they are doing, including lessons learned, cultural considerations, and best practices. They will deliver critical recommendations for funders, policymakers, housing programs, and domestic violence programs and shelters.
