2024 National Week of Action for MMIWR
The National Partners Work Group on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) and the MMIW Family Advisors are organizing a National Week of Action (April 29 - May 5, 2024) to call the nation and the world to action in honor of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives.
Take action by participating throughout the week, exploring our list of resources, and joining and organizing additional actions in your communities on and around May 5th.
Join us in saying enough is enough. No more stolen sisters.
Join Us On Social Media
We recognize social media as a powerful tool in community outreach and uplifting the collective voices of grassroots advocates and survivors. We are honored to offer suggested social media posts, hashtags, and graphics in support of the 2024 National Week of Action.
- Use the following hashtags during the National Week of Action: #MMIWActionNow, #NoMoreStolenSisters, and #MMIW, #MMIWR, #MMIWRGoLocal.

Walk, run, and move in honor of MMIWR. Join Rising Hearts for the 6th Annual Running for Justice in person and virtual 5K from May 3-6.

Women experience violence every day. Ending the MMIWR crisis is a commitment to everyday action. Continue to take action all year to stop this crisis of violence.
