Please join us in welcoming STTARS, the Indigenous Safe Housing Center, an OFVPS funded Capacity Building Center to this month’s Coffee and Conversation. STTARS is a project of the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center (NIWRC), which is the is one of the two mandated National Resource Centers funded by OFVPS. STTARS stands for Safety, Training, Technical Assistance, Resource and Support. STTARS works at the intersection of housing insecurity/homelessness and domestic and sexual violence to create safe housing options for survivors. STTARS will provide an engaging presentation and conversation around survivor experiences in finding and securing safe and affordable housing.
