Pathways Home: A Native Homeownership Guide for Homebuyers Resources
This is the Third Edition of Pathways Home: A Native Homeownership Guide, which was developed by the National American Indian Housing Council. The changes in the Third Edition were necessitated by the 2008 Housing Crisis in America. This edition includes the new Fannie Mae's and Freddy Mac's 2018 revised Uniform Relocation Loan Application process; the Consumer Finance Bureau's Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure requirements, additional consumer protection laws; expanded credit, affordability, and foreclosure information; and updated mortgage terminology, loan product, and mortgage insurance information. There are six total lessons and the modules include great worksheets and sample credit repair letters, as well as practical tools for individuals looking towards homeownership.
